Identity for an event at Qasr Al-Hukm.
The "Look and Feel" concept for this event revolves around the theme of revealing and disappearing elements, creating a narrative that ties the event to the palace's architecture. The palace, inspired by the Islamic tradition of 'hidden architecture,' serves as a backdrop where stories are unveiled. Videos will intermittently appear and disappear within the palace's structure, enhancing the sense of discovery. As visitors journey through the palace, they transition from public (visible) areas to private (hidden) spaces, further emphasizing the contrast between what is shown and what is concealed.
The graphic principles and design language are also very much inspired by the idea of connections. The connection between digital (AV) and physical (architecture) is represented by the choice of modern vectorial lines meeting traditional patterns. The connection between past and present is reflected in the font pairing that embodies these ideas. Additionally, the connection between people and the palace is illustrated by overlapping shapes, symbolizing the interaction and integration of visitors with the space.
