Ostara is a Garden Design company that specialise in creating innovative and beautiful gardens, transforming outdoor spaces using elegant planting and natural materials. They commissioned me to create their logo and identity.
The Logo is based on the idea of spring and the natural cycle of a plant. There are several levels of narratives in this symbol. From a distance it could be a flower, symbol of Spring, but the highlighted petal reveals a drifting seed in the wind or a sprout depending on the angle. Sprout, flower and drifting seed, the symbol represents the full cycle of a plant in a loop from the begining of life to its journey seeking a place to take root and flourish once again.
The sprout can be also be used separately to create some graphic elements or a simple pattern.
